Longmont, Colorado’s annual Día de los Muertos celebration has developed into a premiere and anticipated event brought to you by the Longmont Museum and Firehouse Arts Center. Longmont attracts more than 6,000 people to their festivities and exhibits every year. The 2021 calendar of events is still TBD.
This celebration demonstrates how a diverse community can come together to share the common desire of honoring ancestors and keeping their memories alive for the generations.
Events often include dancing, exquisite exhibits, music, food, a skeleton parade, arts and crafts. The celebration is educational, cultural, fun and free to the public.
